When the Review and Sign page opens in the Rating phase, users will be directed to the Part 3. Rating of Record panel. Part 3: Rating of Record is the final section of the Senior Professional Performance Plan in USA Performance. It is where the official, final performance rating for the appraisal cycle is recorded after all performance elements have been reviewed, rated, and approved according to agency policy.
This section consolidates all performance data — including the Critical Element ratings, their assigned weights, and any user official recommendations — into one final Rating of Record that becomes part of the Senior Professional’s official personnel file.
Each panel includes:
- Recommended Rating from the applicable user official
- Signature boxes for applicable user and/or official
- A date stamp indicating when the review was signed
The blue Sign Rating button appears next to the applicable user’s signature box, when the plan is routed to that user. A red Remove Rating Signatures button will appear once a signature at the top right corner.
