The Performance Plans page displays both current and past performance plans assigned to you and/or your employees. It allows you to search, sort, and filter plans based on selected criteria, and save customized views for quick access in the future.
- From the Dashboard, click Performance Plans.
2. The Performance Plans page opens.
3. Sorting arrows appear to the right of each default column heading such as Name, Email, Plan Year, Phase, and Status.
4. Applying filters will produce a filtered list of users. Click the funnel icon of the applicable column. Based on the column, you will type your criteria into the search bar or select from a multi-select drop down. Click Apply. To remove the filter criteria, click the blue funnel icon of the column and select Clear. The original results will appear.

5. To add additional columns to the results, navigate to the right corner and click the Select Additional Columns search bar and a multi-select drop down will appear. Add a checkmark next to the column. Click Display. To remove the additional columns, click the Select Additional Columns search box and uncheck the columns and click Display.
- Here is the list of additional columns to select:
- Organization: The group or section where employees work, often used to distinguish permissions and settings in USA Performance.
- Organization Code: An alpha-numeric code established by the agency, required for several data import processes.
- Rating Cycle Group: The timeframe in USA Performance that aligns with the agency's rating cycle, establishing the start and end of the performance cycle.
- Plan Start Date: The first date a plan and its elements are applicable to the employee.
- Plan End Date: The last date a plan and its elements are applicable to the employee.
- Rating Official: The individual who provides a written narrative documenting the employee's performance throughout the appraisal period.
- Reviewing Official: The higher-level reviewer who ensures the performance management process is completed according to policy.
- Template: The framework within which a plan is developed, outlining performance elements, definitions, and standards.
- Agency Identifier: A unique alpha-numeric number for each employee, not a social security number.
- Pay Plan: The pay system or schedule determining the employee's basic pay rate.
- Series: Classes of positions similar in work but differing in difficulty, responsibility, or qualifications.
- Grade: A level of work or range of difficulty, responsibility, and qualification requirements.
- Plan Purpose: The reason for creating a plan, selected from a dropdown menu, such as annual, detail, interim, etc.
- The additional columns will display.
- To update the Performance Plans page settings with the additional columns, click Save My Default View.
8. A green confirmation message will appear. This default view will now display when the Performance Plans opens.

9. To reset the Performance Plans page to the original view settings, click Reset View. The page will display the original default columns.
