Overview and Navigation of USA Performance
This section guides you through the USA Performance site map, core features, and main pages. You’ll learn how to navigate the system, access essential tools, and perform key tasks — giving you the foundation to use USA Performance efficiently and confidently.
Dashboard
The Dashboard page serves as your personal notification center and hub to the system’s features. Your notifications and dashboard tasks are based on your user role and permissions.
User Profile for Workforce
The User Profile drop-down menu is a navigation control that allows users to access personal account settings, update your avatar, manage proxy rights, and other account-related functions. Executives and officials may view their user profile. This allows the user to view their personal information, performance plans and user roles. Only the avatar may be edited. If you notice a change needed in your user profile, contact your agency performance management representative.
Proxy Users
Proxy users can log into USA Performance on behalf of another user to assist with USA Performance tasks. Proxy users can be assigned by any USA Performance user. Proxy users can view and edit everything for the user except for signing performance plans, removing signatures, and managing proxies for the user.
Performance Plans Page
The Performance Plans page serves as a centralized hub for accessing and managing performance plans across the organization. Employees can view and navigate their current and historical performance plans. Supervisors can access their own plans as well as the performance plans of their direct reports. HR administrators can view and manage performance plans within their assigned organizational areas or purview.
Reports
The Reports Module allows users with direct reports to generate real-time reports on employees’ performance plans, signature history, and progress throughout the performance management cycle.
