Pay Pool uses PRB Groups to organize panelists and assign a Chair for each pool. Pay Pool PRB Groups are separate from standard PRB groups — a group must be explicitly designated for Pay Pool use during setup. Only groups marked "Use for Pay Pool" will be available for employee assignment.
This article covers how to assign the correct user roles and create a designated Pay Pool PRB Group.
Before You Begin
Users must have the PRB Member role assigned before they can be added to a Pay Pool group. Both Pay Pool Panelists and PRB Members are assigned this same role — "PRB Member" covers both functions in the system.
If users have not yet been assigned the PRB Member role, complete that step first (see: Assign User Roles)
1. Navigate to Admin > Manage Users > Select User.
2. Select ‘User Roles’ tab> Ensure ‘PRB Member for [Organization]’ is selected. [Note: this should be selected for Pay Pool and PRB users]
3. Navigate to Admin > Manage PRB Groups.
4. Select ‘Create PRB Group.’
5. Name Group and select ‘Use for Pay Pool.’
6. Select Pay Pool Chair from dropdown > click ‘Add Member to Group as Chair.’
7. Repeat for Pay Pool Members and select 'Add Member to Group' > Submit changes to save group.
Important Notes
- A PRB group must have the "Use for Pay Pool" checkbox selected to appear as an option when assigning employees to Pay Pools.
- The Pay Pool Chair is distinguished from Panelists within the group — only the Chair can set consensus ratings.
- If you need to add or remove members from an existing group, navigate to Admin > Manage PRB Groups, select the group, make your changes, and select Submit Changes.
