If you receive an updated smart card, the system will prompt you to register your new smart card.
- Navigate to https://usaperformance.opm.gov in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. A banner will appear if an unsupported browser (Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Internet Explorer) is utilized.
- Click Sign in with smart card. The browser will present certificates for selection. Click More Choices if all certificates are not displayed. Select the Authentication certificate when prompted.

Enter your USA Performance email address to verify your identity. Click Submit.

An email containing a one-time password (OTP) code will be sent to your email inbox. Enter that code in the OTP Code box. Click Verify Code.

USA Performance will confirm your smart card has been associated with your USA Performance account. Click Return to Login to complete registration and login with your smart card.
