The Authentication method setup page opens. Select the appropriate checkbox of the authentication method. Login.gov encourages to select at least two different authentication options. Depending on the authentication method selected, additional information may be needed.
Note: USA Performance recommends selecting more than one authentication method. Login.gov allows you to add additional authentication methods after your Login.gov account is created. You may also change or add new phone numbers and email addresses for the purpose of accessing your account.
Information in your USA Performance account is separate from the information in your Login.gov account. If you need to request a change to your USA Performance account, please contact your Performance Management Team for further assistance.
Once the authentication method is selected, Login.gov will confirm the account has been created. Select Agree and continue.
