As the Pay Pool Chair, you review all Pay Pool Panelist rating suggestions and establish consensus ratings at the critical element level. Your consensus ratings become the default starting point for the PRB and carry forward through the remainder of the review process.
Important Notes
- The "Final" rating section defaults to the Pay Pool Chair's recommended summary and individual critical element ratings for the PRB.
- Pay Pool Chair ratings are visible to PRB Members and the PRB Chair as the starting point for their review.
- The PRB Chair has authority to amend the "Final" rating, which will overwrite the Pay Pool Chair's scores.
- Your ratings and consensus history are fully captured in PowerBI reports and available to Admin users.
How to Access the Chair Workspace and Set Consensus Ratings

Navigate to your Dashboard and select a "Review Plans as Pay Pool Panelist" task.
- On the plan list, select a plan by clicking the employee's name, then click the Pay Pool Ratings button.
- In the Pay Pool workspace, review all panelist inputs displayed for each critical element. Set the consensus ratings for each Critical Element.
- In the Final Pay Pool Rating row, set your consensus rating for each critical element (CE1–CE5) using the dropdowns.
- Select Save to record the consensus ratings.
Tip: Use the Refresh button in the workspace to reload the latest panelist inputs before finalizing your consensus ratings.
How To: View a Linked Plan from the Chair Workspace
If an employee has two associated plans linked by an Administrator, you can view the linked plan directly from the Pay Pool workspace for additional context.
- From the plan list, select a user and click Pay Pool Ratings.
- In the workspace, select View Linked Plan.
