As a Pay Pool Panelist, you review and evaluate performance plans assigned to your Pay Pool at the critical element level in a dedicated Pay Pool workspace. Only the plans assigned to your specific pool are visible to you.
Pay Pool Panelist Workspace Overview
The Pay Pool workspace includes the following features:
- Filtered plan view — Only plans assigned to your Pay Pool are displayed in your workspace.
- Critical element-level review — Reviews are conducted at the critical element level, rather than the summary level.
- Dashboard task list — Pay Pool review tasks appear directly in your Dashboard task list for easy tracking.
- Linked plan access — Plans are accessible via hyperlink directly from the review screen, so you can reference additional context without leaving the workspace.
Important Notes
- The Pay Pool workspace is view-only for plans — to make changes, click the hyperlink in the Name column to navigate to that plan.
- Your suggested critical element ratings feed into the Pay Pool Chair's consensus process. The Chair reviews all panelist inputs before setting the final consensus rating.
How to Access the Pay Pool Review Workspace and Submit Suggested Critical Element Ratings:
1. Navigate to Dashboard > Select a Pay Pool review task.
2. Review the plan list > Confirm only your assigned Pay Pool plans appear> Select a plan.
3. Select ‘Pay Pool Ratings’ button to open Pay Pool Workspace.
4. Review each critical element rating and select your rating suggestion.
5. Save selections.
How To: View a Linked Plan
A linked plan provides additional context about an employee when two associated plans exist. You can access a linked plan from two locations.
From the Filtered Review Page

Navigate to your Dashboard and select a Pay Pool task.
- Locate a plan with a “View” link in the “Linked Plan” column.
- Select View — the linked plan will open in a new tab.
- Verify the linked plan content is fully visible.
From the Pay Pool Workspace

From the filtered review page, select a user.

Select the Pay Pool Ratings button to open the workspace.
- Select View Linked Plan at the top of the workspace.
- Verify the linked plan content is fully visible in the new tab.
