Before anyone can be added to a Calibration Panel as a Member or Chair, they must have the Calibration Member role assigned in the system. This role makes them eligible for panel selection — it does not automatically add them to any panel, and it does not give them access to any plans on its own.
You can assign this role two ways: through Assign User Roles (useful for multiple people at once) or through an individual user's User Roles tab in Manage Users.
Option 1: Assign in Bulk Using Assign User Roles
Use this option when you need to assign the Calibration Member role to several people at once.
- Navigate to the Admin tab and select Assign User Roles.
- Select the individuals you want to assign the role to. From the Role to Assign dropdown, select Calibration Member.
- Select the Assign Role button. A green confirmation message will appear when the role has been successfully assigned.
Option 2: Assign Individually Through Manage Users
Use this option when you are assigning the role to a single person.
- Navigate to the Admin tab and select Manage Users.
- Select the individual you want to assign the role to.
- Navigate to the User Roles tab in the upper right of their profile.
- Check the Calibration Member box for the appropriate organization, then select Save.
- A confirmation message reading "Performance Management Roles have been saved" will appear.
Note: ZZ Pay Plan Employees
Users on the ZZ Pay Plan may be assigned the Calibration Member role and can serve as panel Members or Chairs. Their own plans cannot be assigned to calibration, but they can review other employees' plans.
